Contrast and Colour Sensors

Contrast Sensing

In many processes in industrial automation, print registration marks play a major role. Therefore it's all the more important to detect them in a reliable and repeatable way. For that purpose, the contrast sensor FT 20 WT uses a white light LED. It reliably detects marks in different colours and intensities and can detect even the fi nest contrast

differences. Particularly helpful, thanks to its depth of focus of +/- 2 mm, the sensor is highly resistant to vibrations.

This sensor has all the advantages of the F 20 range: Compact plastic casing, teach-in operation and a comprehensive range of accessories. With dynamic teach-in, parameterization in running processes is particularly easy.

Colour Sensing

Whilst conventional colour sensors need three superimposed primary colours for detection purposes, our FT 50 C and FT 20 WT sensors operate with white light and offer the right solution for every application: the FT50 C is thus available (for example) with 3
signal outputs or just one signal output with control cables and a bus compatible RS 485 interface.
