Smart Plug - Intelligent accessories for sensors

SmartPlug spares you the use of expensive time function elements or other control elements, as: SmartPlug makes the sensor smart. When connected with SmartPlug, your sensor will adopt additional control functions. A timer, counter or inverter (NPN to PNP or visa-versa), frequency control or on and/or discharge delay.

Settings are carried out per teach-in with the classics MFC, MFI, MFT and MFF using a control line.

The new, universal genius MFU can be programmed via an infrared interface using a PDA (Palm) or notebook.

SmartPlug is cascadable in every version so that for example counters and timers can be combined.

SmartPlug is suitable for use with sensors from all manufacturers fitted with a standard M12 4-pin connector; a special adapter cable is available for connection to M8 connectors. SmartPlug hides its sophisticated electronics in the handy 60 x 20 mm small connector housing. Thanks to its maximum output current of 400 mA, SmartPlug can also be used as a switching amplifier.
