been allocated by the operating system. Below you will find our guide showing

you how you check which com port has been allocated and how to change it.

Look out for the yellow boxes!

1).        Go to the start icon and select Control Panel.

(Don’t be confused by the fact that I have my windows menu on the top of my

 screen).

2).        In the search window type “Computer Mana”

3).        Then “View advance system settings”

Warning window comes up saying that “Windows Needs Your Permission to

 continue”

Only continue if you are comfortable with what you are doing if not

PLEASE get you IT department to assist you.

4).

5).

6).

7).

8).

You can now check which port has been allocated to the USB port and change

 it if required.
